Julie Pruett
Co-Founder

Julie's primary focus is to serve her family as a wife and homeschool mom. She met her amazing husband, Paul, at the University of Alabama where she received a bachelor's degree in Event Planning and a masters degree in Human Resources with a focus on training. Fast forwarding to the journey of raising her two children to be compassionate for others she created a club called, It's Not All About Me in 2011, which impacted our world both locally and internationally. She feels passionate about leading children to shift their focus from themselves towards others, and helping them realize how rewarding it can be. She was dreaming about how to combine helping children serve others along with her families' love of outdoor adventure, and with God's help SEAK was born!

Ann Marie Brezina
Co-Founder

Growing up in a family that encouraged outdoor play and adventure, Ann Marie, was introduced to the created world of living things at a very young age. As she continued to grow, she became more and more inquisitive and excited to learn not just the “How’s” of nature, but also the “Why’s”. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Minor in Biology from Wheaton College, IL. While earning her B.S, she traveled and studied in the Black Hills, SD, where she did field studies in Entomology, Botany, and Biology. With a love for adventure and teaching children, she pursued Outdoor Leadership qualifications as a Camp Counselor, Wilderness Practicum Leader, Discipleship Training Leader, and Wilderness Discipleship Trip Leader under the guidance of a certified Outward Bound Leadership Program Instructor at Honey Rock North woods Campus of Wheaton College, WI. She then pursued her M.S. in Science Education with an emphasis on Outdoor Science Education and Sociology as an Interdisciplinary Degree from the University of Tennessee. During her M.S. studies, she did an internship with TN Department of Education Project Wet and Project Wild writing curriculum and leading training workshops for TN educators to teach experiential science in their classrooms. She worked in outdoor leadership and science education through Young Life, Windy Gap, NC, and River Ridge Environmental Center in TN. She developed, organized and worked a TREC (Together Reaching Each Challenge) Outdoor Leadership Program for an accredited private school called, Christian Academy of Knoxville, TN. She is currently employed with Point University, GA teaching Science courses, and Coram Deo Classical School, GA teaching Adventure Pe/Health in High School and Elementary core classes. She is married to her husband Ben, and lives with joy from the blessing of her 5 children. Her loves in life are her family, her Lord Jesus Christ, His created wild and untamed earth, anything that takes her outside to adventure His created world with her family as they experience life together, and encouraging others to have a heart for adventure.
