What Makes SEAK Different?

What Is SEAK?
SEAK is a group of students that exist together as a klub to SERVE others in our community, EXPERIENCE the benefits of working together as a team, and LEARN the elements of leadership through experiential outdoor adventure education.
WHAT MAKES SEAK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
PROGRAMS?

When you add the Christian component to adventure, like we are doing at SEAK, the learning outcomes are driven much deeper. At SEAK we want to provide a biblical theological understanding of the significance of adventure.
The holy and revered Word of God, the Bible, will be one of our primary textbooks in all our klub meetings. Adventure education fills our world more and more as kids desire to experience challenge and risk, however, many of the institutions that exist to teach are not concerned about the spiritual growth of its students. At SEAK that is our primary focus. Students at SEAK will be challenged to move out of their comfort zones into deeper places with God. Our desire is that as they grow into their own areas of leadership through maturing into young adults and beyond. As they lead they will lead with a passion and love for Jesus Christ as they follow the Holy Spirit in their own adventure of Christian living.
WHAT ARE OUR METHODS OF LEARNING?

A Variety of training methods to achieve these goals will be implemented such as, but not limited to:
-Team Work Challenge Initiatives
-Biblical Studies of Adventure
- Education on Outdoor Adventure Pursuits
-Family Outings
-Monthly Klub Meetings
-Overnight Trips
-Klub adventure Outing
-Professional Community Instruction
-Monthly Service Projects
-Running an Effective Fundraiser
